A local shop. A personal approach.
Fred's Auto Repair is an independently owned, one-man auto repair shop in Coon Rapids, MN. You communicate directly with the person responsible for your vehicle.
Talk to the person working on your car.
At Fred's Auto Repair, there's no service writer between you and the bay. When you call or stop by, you're dealing with Fred — the mechanic who'll actually be under your hood. That direct line means clearer answers and a repair that reflects what your car actually needs.
That's the difference an independent shop makes. Decisions aren't filtered through quotas or upsell scripts. You get an honest read on what's wrong, what can wait, and what really matters — then you decide together how to move forward.
It's personal service built on clear communication and a straightforward repair experience. No runaround. Just your car, your mechanic, and the road.
Clear communication
You get plain-English explanations of what's happening with your car — the cause, the options, and the real priority. No jargon, no pressure.
Personal service
One mechanic, one shop. The person you talk to is the person doing the work, so nothing gets lost between a service writer and the bay.
Straightforward experience
Honest assessments and work done right the first time — without the runaround, upsells, or surprises that come with larger shops.
